Everyone wants to become successful. Hundreds and thousands of articles are being created to show people how to become one. However, success starts from within. You may have the best tools and skills but if you are not yet the right person for success, then the tools are useless. The best investment truly is investing in yourself. Be the best person you can be. Unleash your true potential. And to do that, we need to fine tune ourselves:
"Your mind has gotta be right.Your character has got to be right.and your habits have got to be right."

1. Positive Mindset
The world right now is bombarded with crap - with all the negative news out there, it is impossible not to be affected and be negative in some way. Because of that we tend to be very cautious in every step: the feeling that there is somebody from behind waiting to stab us.
As the law of attraction states: "what you focus on expands," we become a living crap-magnet. We can no longer see the blessings we receive each day because we focus on the negative things that happen to us. The more we see negative, the more negative things will happen to us.
It is imperative therefore to achieve success, we need to be mentally fit: positive in every way. Yes, it is truly difficult to be one, however, it is the only way. No successful person is seen who does not believe in himself, he is positive that his entrepreneurial efforts will bear good fruits. The more positive you are, the more you see the small blessings every day: the no traffic, the perfect parking space, the free lunch, the kiss from your wife. Those are little blessings that we need to appreciate.
Challenge for the week: Do the 7-day mental diet. No negative, just positive. Yes, there will be negative news, but don't let it dwell in your mind for a minute or two.
2. Character - develop integrity
Integrity is also one character that is starting to go extinct. Integrity may mean a lot of things to different people, but put it simply it means: "Do what you said you're going to do!" Period. No BS. No excuses. If you say you're going to do something, just do it. Integrity therefore is building trust. The trust you build to people, and the trust you build to yourself.
Build trust to people:
When you say to someone, "let's meet up tomorrow at 9:00 am." Then you should be there at 9:00 am. not 9:15, not 9:05! That's integrity. Sounds tough? You sure bet. Once you develop keeping your words, people will trust you and that is the time they do business with you.
Build trust to yourself:
Building trust in yourself is the same as building trust with others - you got to do what you said you're going to do. If you say to yourself, "I will be doing my 7-minute workout everyday!." Well, you got to be, else you will come up with all the excuses in the world why you can not do it. It may feel good for a moment but later you'll feel crap about yourself. Why? because you can't trust yourself. Why? because you can not keep your own words to yourself. And with that, your self-esteem will go down, and you'll lose confidence in yourself.

To attain your power and confidence, build trust in yourself and others. Do what you said you're going to do, be in full integrity!
3. Habits - be disciplined
To finally unleash the best you - you need to have good habits. We are all creatures of habits. The question is do we have good or bad habits? Are the actions you're taking will lead you to your goals? watching t.v., facebook, youtube, smoking, shopping, playing cards - are they part of your habits?
If so, we need the discipline to change them. If you have an 8 to 5 job, then what you do on your spare time should be productive. Read books, listen to audio programs, attend seminars or do a part-time job. Make them productive. Change the bad habits and turn them to good ones.
30 Day Challenge: They say that in order to develop or remove a habit, it takes 30 consecutive days. Start from there. If you say you want reading a book for continuous learning to be part of your good habits, then do it. If you want to remove a bad habit like also being late, then be early for the next 30 days. And remember be in full integrity!
After developing the best you - results will follow. If you've been chasing success for a long time now, maybe, it's not about the vehicle, the tools or skills you are using, maybe it is because of you. Invest in the best asset - be the best YOU.
