There are different aspects in life: relationships, work, financial, spiritual, career, education and more.
One of my mentors said, "In all aspects of your life, you gotta win. When you focus on one thing, it doesn't mean that you sacrifice the other."
Sounds like a complicated balancing of priorities, right? But my mentor explained it in a very simple and practical way.
When we were still in school, we were able to study all subjects no matter how many they are. In fact, if you are academically gifted, you can even top all the subjects, flat one (1.0). But when we graduated, we somehow never understood the deeper meaning of schooling.
Yes, life is the real school! And the different aspects are our subjects. We gotta learn about handling relationships, we gotta work and have career growth, we gotta be financially educated, and we gotta be thankful to our God. If we were able to graduate from school with the pressures and sacrifices, there's no way we can't graduate from life.
You don't have to hate money in order for you to be spiritually wealthy, nor are you to sacrifice your relationships or families for career growth. We can win all aspects in life. We just have to continue to learn, we have to look for mentors and be in an environment where you want to grow.
I finally decided to dedicate this blog towards achieving flat one (1.0) in all my life's subjects. And I want to share with you too because we all deserve to graduate in life with flying colors! :)
